Term 1: How do we look after our environment? Taking care of myself, classroom, ipad, school, community.
Students in Year 1 use the KidPix drawing programme. They learn how to use the tools available e.g. pencil, paint bucket, eraser etc.
Students are encouraged to be creative and draw images related to the inquiry focus for the term.
Term 2: Creating kites. Continue to use the Kidpix drawing programme. Room 16 in the Creative Space this term. Continue to develop drawing skills and use of the tools available on Kidpix.
Term 3: Why are the Sun and Moon important to us? What makes Day and Night? Room 17 is in the Creative Space this term. Students will begin learning how to Hyperstudio to create graphics.
