PhD Students
Ori has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Columbia University, a Master’s degree in International Affairs, concentrating in Middle Mast Studies and Conflict Resolution from Columbia SIPA, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Haifa . Ori’s interests are at the intersection of clinical and political psychology, increasing personal awareness, and the empowerment of the general population. Ori’s PhD in psychology focuses on studying the implementation of clinical psychology techniques in intractable conflict resolution on a social scale. He is also a passionate hurdy gurdy player.
Avishai Zacharia is a psychology Ph.D. candidate and a member of the IDIT multidisciplinary program at the University of Haifa. He completed his Bachelor's degrees (psychology and economics) and Master's degree (clinical psychology) at California State University, Northridge. He continued his education at the Florida Institute of Technology in the field of applied behavior analysis and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. His research interests include the functional categorization of interpersonal verbal behavior and the use of behavioral interventions to facilitate cooperation and reduce maladaptive behaviors between groups in conflict.
MA Students
Eden Hemo is a M.A student in the child clinical psychology program at the University of Haifa. She holds a B.A in Psychology from Bar-Ilan University. Her thesis focuses on Victim Category Accessibility (VCA) and its relation to prosocial responses toward victimized outgroups.
Hagay Nachmani is a M.A student in the Cognitive-Social-Neurocognitive psychology research program at the University of Haifa. He holds a B.A in Cognitive Science and Psychology from the University of Haifa. His thesis focuses on the role of meta-perceptions in intractable conflicts and the effects of the Informative Process Model.
