Shira Kermer-Sharon

Shira Kremer-Sharon has recently completed her PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Haifa, Israel. Her research investigated the role of victim category accessibility in prosocial responses toward victimized outgroups. Shira has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Political Science from Tel-Aviv University, Israel, and a Master’s degree in Social Psychology, from University of Haifa, Israel. Shira's academic interests in Social and Political Psychology are psychological processes in intergroup conflicts and their resolution, such as collective victimization, cognitive processes of categorization, and intergroup prosociality.
