Sunrise Teen Lounge

The Teen Center is a space for students to relax and unwind from the school day. Students are encouraged to participate in various activities, make new friends, and have fun. Activities: Pool, Ping-Pong, Air Hockey, Basketball arcade, Wii U, X-Box 1, Movies, PlayStation 4, Music Videos, tournaments and much more! 

Study Hall

The purpose of HW/Tutoring Support is to create a space, before and after school, where students work on and complete their academic assignments. We encourage collaboration between peer tutors and students who need academic support. In addition, we provide access to resources (Computers, printers, internet, and other supplies).

Driver's Ed

Here at The Nest, we offer a Driver`s Ed course is free for all student to participate in. All we ask is that your students bring back our application that they can obtain here at the high school within room 108. This is a self-pace course where students learn about the rules and regulation of the law when it comes to driving. Upon, completion of the course, students will obtain a certification of completion that can present to the DMV and be one step closing to obtain their drivers permit. 

Gamer's Club

Dive into the exciting realm of gaming with our high school video game club! Join fellow enthusiasts in exploring diverse game genres, honing skills, and fostering a dynamic gaming community. From epic tournaments to casual gaming nights, we offer a space for camaraderie and friendly competition. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting, our club welcomes all levels of gamers to share experiences, strategies, and a passion for the immersive world of video games. Think college Club

The purpose of our College & Career initiative is to 1) develop and sustain a college bound culture 2) to maximize career readiness and career opportunities for our students. With a college continuum, our College and Career Older Youth Leader hosts monthly workshops (i.e. personal statement, college applications, financial aid, resume writing, and more). In addition, students can be drop-in for open office hours, or schedule an appointment, to receive one on one support with anything related to college and career.

Gardening Club

Our gardening club helps students learn about growing their own plants and vegetables. Students are encouraged to work together in order to help their garden flourish.  Students receive hands on experience.
