The DOST National Science and Technology Week has set the Theme for 2021 to be, "Agham at Teknolohiya: Tugon sa Hamon ng Panahon".
In line with the current circumstances due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all ways of life have been significantly changed regardless of status, race and age. As we are now in the seventeenth (17th) month from the first lockdown last March 2020, Science and Technology has proven useful and has aided in countless lives in the country, especially in the Education Sector where almost all classes have adapted the flexible online learning using various Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Now with the Science Month 2021, the Palawan State University - College of Sciences celebrates in a similar way utilizing the technological resources that everyone has been acquainted with from the recent semesters: Virtual Meetings. No pandemic can stop the College of Sciences community from getting together and share quality collaborations with both faculty and students.
Despite the challenges and threat of COVID variants, the colleges takes a stand in aiming to achieve normalcy through this celebration, with the hopes to one day come back to the university grounds and see familiar and new faces with smiles and hugs. Indeed for now, the Science and Technology is the answer to the challenges of the times.
