We were matched with the Newcombs just before THON 2017, and they’ve held a special place in our hearts ever since.
Maryann is our THON child—and today, she is cancer-free! Diagnosed right before her 18th birthday, Maryann bravely fought her battle with the support of her parents, Celeste and Brian, and her siblings, William and Alex.
Maryann’s journey didn’t stop there—she went on to attend Elon University and recently earned her MBA from the Smeal College of Business. Her strength, success, and spirit are a constant source of inspiration to us.

The newest addition to our THON family, the Mussers, joined us in February 2024. Allyson, our THON child, recently turned 10 years old and fills every room with joy. She loves reading and playing with her sisters, Olivia and Stella.
Allyson’s March PET scan showed no signs of cancer, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for her and her parents, Glenda and Kevin. Her journey continues to inspire us every day.
