About Me

I am a first year student pursuing a BA in English with a minor in Media Studies at Penn State's main campus and I plan to graduate in 2027. In the future I hope to work for a Big 5 publishing house where I can apply my passions of reading and writing to help aspiring authors through editing. As a leadership member of the undergraduate literary journals Kalliope and KLIO, I have had the opportunity of discussing, copyediting, and publishing works from the talented students of Penn State. Ultimately, I plan to apply these acquired skills to enhance the voices of the many talented writers I will encounter in my future career as I help edit their pieces. Throughout this portfolio you will find my experience as a first-year student where I have explored my passions of reading and writing on the leadership board of two literary journals, explored literature from different cultures, and advocated for high quality education.
