The given modules and Pre-Test serve as a review for the students to prepare for the possibility of taking the NCE or any science high school entrance exam.
Additionally, the students may recall the discussions the group had with them regarding how to solve the problems covered in the given tests.
Since hard copies of the modules were given to the students, they may refer to them at any time. Additionally, the school may use the modules as supplementary materials when teaching their students who are taking similar lessons in higher grades. The teachers that the group communicated with will also be sent a soft copy of the files for easier reproduction for future use on their end.
To protect the group’s intellectual property and prevent uncredited distribution, a watermark “For Candelaria Elementary School” was placed across each page of the module. Additionally, “STEModularia from Philippine Science High School – Main Campus students” is placed in the footer.
STEModularia for AY 2021-2022 was able to provide Mathematics learning modules for the students and had two online meetings with the students. Future continuations of this project could include a wider coverage of topics, such as English, Abstract Reasoning, and Science, to further help the students prepare for the NCE.
For AY 2021-2022, the implementation of the project was done asynchronously, relying mostly on the students studying the modules by themselves, only meeting them twice, the first meeting for orientation, and the second meeting to explain the pre-test questions, respectively. More meetings with the students online could be held to better discuss the topics with them.
Additionally, revision of modules could be done for more in-depth explanations and the creation of more hands-on reviewers.
