Welcome Zach Families! I am looking forward to a great year with all of our students and families. As the school counselor at Zach, I teach Social Emotional Learning skills to all students in collaboration with their teachers. These lessons are guided by the ASCA National Standards for Students, as well as the CASEL Caring Schools Community curriculum. These lessons support students in building understanding and skills in the areas of: self awareness, self management, relationship skills, social awareness, and responsible decision making. I also offer small groups to support students' skills in these areas.

As a school counselor, I am available to consult with students, teachers, and families about any needs related to students' social and emotional, academic, or career development within the school setting. Additionally, I am here to provide information and support to connect families with community resources in any of these areas.
