We provide services to students and families that align with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model. This includes focused work in three domains: Academic advising and support, College and career planning and exploration, and Personal/Social support.
The counseling office has a “Wellness Room” for students who do not feel ready to go to class and need a private space to decompress and regulate their emotions. Students can check in with their counselor or counseling secretary to be let into the wellness room and are given 5-10 minutes as needed to use fidget toys, coloring books, stuffed animals, a punching bag, and more.
