AP CHemistry
10 Credits = 2 quarter class
Prerequisites: Chemistry OR Advanced Chemistry AND Algebra 2 with a C or better
AP Chemistry is equivalent to a second-semester college course in introductory Chemistry. AP Chemistry is a rich and challenging class for highly motivated students. This class is recommended for students who wish to study science, engineering, or medicine in college. At Rocky, students are able to concurrently enroll in the equivalent CU-Denver Chemistry for science majors lecture and lab courses and purchase five (5) CU-Denver credits for AP Chemistry.
