Add/Drop Policy
Before a Quarter Begins
Students may change their schedules for future quarters at any time throughout the year.
No penalties apply for schedule changes made before a quarter starts.
During the First Two Days of a Quarter
Schedule changes for the current quarter may be made through Day 2 of the quarter only.
All adds and drops must be completed by 4:15pm on Day 2 of the quarter.
No penalties apply during during this time
After Day 2 and Through Week 4
Schedule changes require a drop slip
A W (Withdrawal) will appear on the transcript (does not affect GPA).
After Week 4 Through the End of the Quarter
Schedule changes require a drop slip
An F will appear on the transcript.
Students should not miss class to make schedule changes.
Schedule changes may not be done over email.
Students enrolled in CU Succeed, HS Select, or Campus Select courses must follow college drop dates.
