Shadow Art
You can find light sources outside and inside. When working with a light source that changes, it's fun to see how fast your shadows are altered. You may choose to leave these distortions or make them look more realistic.
Shadows traced first.
Trace Shadows from objects and create your own backgrounds. You can be realistic or abstract.
You can leave your objects throughout the day, and check to see how to see how fast the shadow changes with the earth's movement.
Optional:
Use water and a brush to smooth out marker. It works like watercolor!
Set up.
Background was added before tracing dinosaur shadows.
If only I could get Kiki to stand still!
Shadows cast by plants.
