Grading
Remember, assignments cannot be turned in after the end of the unit.
Some assignments will be graded based on accuracy, while others will be graded on completion.
Makeups will be accepted for excused absences only.
If assignments are not turned into the correct spot (the tray in the classroom, Google Classroom online, etc) it will be considered missing. If assignments submitted electronically are encrypted/I cannot open them, they will be considered missing. Make sure files can be opened by other people before you submit them.
Suspected use of Google Translate and plagiarism of work will result in a 0. Please follow this link for more information
Students are not allowed to retake or redo homework, assignments, projects, quizzes or tests.
Extra credit will not be given to individual students and is ONLY made possible when the instructor decides to provide that additional opportunity for the class. Don’t ask about doing extra credit, please. Frau Healy will say “No.”
Grades will not be rounded. An 89.9% is an 89.9%, not a 90%. Please look at the section about the “Glück Gehabt!” pass, which is Frau Healy’s version of rounding grades.
