In this class, we will explore the practice of Asana (the physical practice of yoga). Students will benefit from a variety of different yoga sessions as well as exploring other types of fitness opportunities. Some of these opportunities will include pilates, kickboxing, fitness circuits, and other workout routines.
Promote a positive and safe learning environment
A positive attitude, attendance, attire, and active participation are very important.
Encourage students to make good choices during daily physical activity and any classroom instruction.
The goals are to reward students for participation and being active.
Students are also rewarded for learning content information.
At the conclusion of this course, the student will have:
Actively engaged in the activity.
Increased their personal level of fitness, strength, and flexibility
Describe, define, and analyzed the importance of physical movement in everyday life
Stress management practices and self-regulation
