Immersive Learning Experiences with CoSpaces

Discover CoSpaces and learn how to create virtual spaces on laptops. With CoSpaces students can create immersive, interactive experiences that guide viewers through biome tours, galleries, virtual movie theaters and much more. Use as a tool to demonstrate learning and jigsaw learning in classrooms.

Democratize Discussions with Parlay

Jenny Putnam

Parlay is revolutionizing active participation in classroom discussions. During this session we will investigate the Live Discussion and Online Discussion features of Parlay. Participants will act as students engaged in a conversation as well as learn how they can use Parlay with their students.

Podcast Creation & Editing with WeVideo

Matt Benson

During this session we will learn how you can record, edit and publish Podcasts using WeVideo. WeVideo is a collaborative video editor with licensing available for all staff and students. WeVideo also has a screencasting extension for creating student portfolios, or teacher screencasts.

PlayPosit is a tool that allows teachers and students to create interactive video learning experiences. In this session you will learn how to create and assign a PlayPosit as well as learn how students can create interactive videos and engage in interactive Playlists to guide self-paced learning experiences.

Adobe Creative Cloud Express is your easy answer to creating high quality graphics, videos and web pages. Students can use Adobe CC Express to create learning evidence for digital (or print) portfolios.

Interactive Images with Thinglink

Julie Woolner

Have you ever been online shopping and clicked on interactive parts of an image for something you want to buy? If so, this is what Thinglink does and can be used by teachers to present new materials or tag important elements of images and videos. Students can use Thinglink to annotate images of their art or science projects and demonstrate learning in an interactive format.
