About Christie McPhail

I joined the Bethke staff in 2011 and am thrilled to be part of such a positive, dynamic school community.  I have spent my career working in Colorado public schools as both an elementary classroom teacher and an elementary school counselor.  I have  a masters degree in guidance and counseling from Colorado State University and a masters degree in elementary education from the University of Colorado at Boulder.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a certified Yoga Calm kids' instructor, and I am trained as a Sand Tray Play Therapist.  In my spare time I enjoy yoga, travel, camping, skiing, reading, baking, ice hockey, word puzzles, live music, and adventuring with my kids Fiona (22) and Ian (17).
