Senior Capstone Project

An expectation for graduation of all PSA students is the successful completion of the Senior Capstone Experience.

The Senior Capstone Research Project demonstrates mastery and serves as the

culminating experience in the K-12 educational program. The Senior Capstone Research

Project at Palmetto Scholars Academy is a two-part assignment. The chosen topic

determines the specific scope of each student’s capstone project.

• Part 1: A research paper OR a deliverable, Project-Based Learning product with a portfolio

• Part 2: Oral defense presentation to Capstone panel
