Courses, Curriculum, and All the Things!

The most current information for courses offered at PSA is the Program of Studies.  This document is updated each school year and can be found here.

A select number of online courses are available through Virtual SC.  Courses taken through VSC are subject to availability and are approved on an individual basis.  Students must take courses at the same level or higher as what is offered at PSA.  Please contact Ms. Widener via email with any specific questions regarding Virtual SC.

*Note regarding Summer courses: Current 8th/rising 9th grade students may only request PE or Personal Health over the Summer before 9th grade.  Current high school students may request PE, Personal Health, Personal Finance, OR additional courses not offered by PSA (subject to approval).

Students have access to hundreds of dual enrollment college courses through Trident Technical College each year.  Students may begin taking these courses in their 11th or 12th grade year.  Courses are subject to availability, prerequisite requirements, and approval of PSA and TTC.

Most students choose to work towards earning their general education requirements, but English 101/102 is always the best place to start!
