Our third-grade class recently embarked on an exciting walking field trip through the neighborhood, where students used digital cameras to capture photos of places that held personal significance to them. Back in the classroom, they created vibrant collages showcasing these meaningful spots and took turns interviewing one another about their choices. As part of this project, students also explored new technology by using green screens and editing their interviews and photo presentations with iMovie. It was a fun and creative way to combine storytelling, tech skills, and a deeper connection to the community around them.
