Ms. Tracey (room 3), Ms. Kara (room 4), and Ms. Lauren (room 5)

• • Please do not arrive before 8:35–8:40 AM. Arriving earlier interferes with the K–2 arrival process. If you arrive before 8:40 AM, please park in the front parking lot and wait until you are able to enter the preschool drop-off area.

  • Parents/caregivers drive in Sweetsir's main entrance and take a right (after the parking lot) and follow the Jervey Loop driveway.

  • Once you pass through the metal gate, form TWO lanes.

  • The first car in each lane should pull forward alongside the preschool playspace, approximately to the first speed bump. Please do NOT turn left into the back parking lot as you have done previously. Staff will help direct traffic into the two lanes the first few days.

  • If you are past the metal gate, you may walk your child to their classroom door.

  • Teachers will open the classroom doors at 8:45 AM.

  • If you are still waiting behind the metal gate, please remain in your car. You will become the new first car in the queue once the cars ahead of you have cleared.

  • After dropping off your child, return to your car and wait.

  • Once the car directly in front of you leaves, you may pull forward and exit.

  • When exiting, carefully merge into ONE lane. Please take turns and watch carefully for pedestrians and other vehicles.

  • Please do not pass or go around another car. Even if your child has already been dropped off, please wait until the cars ahead of you move.

  • You will follow the Jervey Loop driveway around the rest of the building and out of the Sweetsir's main exit.

  • Please be mindful of cars already in the fire lane/ main driveway who are also arriving/leaving for Preschool.

  • At 8:45am and 11:45am, a staff member will be at the front and end of the car line queue (to start). When you are between those two staff members and all cars are parked, you may exit your vehicle with your child. 

  • Parents/caregivers will walk their child to the lobby door. Classroom teachers will be at those doors ready to greet students.

  • After dropping off your child, return to your car and wait.

• • Parents/caregivers drive in Sweetsir's main entrance and take a left (after the parking lot) and split into TWO ROWS along the fire lane/ front driveway. As you make that left, a staff member will direct you to park in the car line queue.

  • At 8:45am, 11:45, and 2:15pm, a staff member will be at the front and end of the car line queue. When you are between those two staff members and all cars are parked, you may exit your vehicle with your child. 

  • Parents/caregivers will walk their child to the lobby door. Classroom teachers will be at the lobby doors ready to greet students.

  • Once your child is inside, please return to your car. 

  • Once ALL parents/guardians have returned to their cars, the staff member at the front of the car line queue will release the ENTIRE line. Please be patient as we navigate through this. You will not be permitted to leave the queue once you and your child are finished.

  • You will follow the fire lane/front driveway and out of the Sweetsir's main exit.

  • Please be mindful of cars exiting from Jervey Loop who are also arriving/leaving for preschool.

aM Extended care 8:20-8:45

• • Park your car in the front parking lot. Walk your child to the lobby/ main entrance door (not your child's classroom door). A staff member will be in lobby ready to greet your child.

OR

• • Enter through Jervey Loop using the procedure for students in kindergarten through grade two. The older sibling may walk the younger sibling to the staff member waiting outside/lobby.

pm Extended care 2:15-2:55

ALL EXTENDED CARE PRESCHOOLERS:

• Extended Day Preschool pick-up will take place through the regular Jervey Loop process. 

• Instead of turning left and looping around the parking lot adjacent to preschool classrooms 3, 4, and 5, you will continue straight into the K–2 Jervey Loop pick-up line and follow the directions of staff members there.
