What Does it Mean to "Be The One?"
Hope Squad's theme for the 2021-22 school year is "Be The One" - to take that extra step in connecting with other students. Taking the extra step may be as simple as opening the door for someone, or noticing when someone could use a friend. Many Hope Squad members will take this theme even further by creating a safe space to talk one-on-one with their peers about subjects such as bullying.
Kindness is contagious and will cause a chain reaction of positivity throughout schools and communities. When Hope Squad members take extra steps to spread kindness, they inspire all students to become, "The One."
