April Kindness Challenge:
Kindness Note
During the month of April, Kindness Club students will be able to participate in multiple projects because it's Provo City's Kindness Week! The first challenge is to write a kind note to someone you don't know at school.
Kind ROCK Project
You are invited to paint a rock (at home) to be placed around town during Provo Kindness Week (April 19-23).
Please paint a Kind Rock (painted with a kindness message). This is an optional activity as rocks are not provided. Please do not take rocks from our school grounds or city parks! You can drop the painted rock off at the front office by Wednesday, April 14. Rocks will not be returned.
Rocks are easiest to create when smooth rocks are chosen and painted white (or a light color) and then later when paint has dried a second layer of the kind words/message can be written with a sharpie or paint.
-More information about Provo Kindness Week can be found at: provokindness.org
The first batch of students that turn in their painted Kindness Rocks in to the front office will get a prize!
Kindness Artwork for Food Pantry
Art class will also be doing a contest school-wide starting April 19th. Student's art work will be donated to the Food Pantry. They will be placed in grocery bags to brighten the day of someone in need.
