Industry Partners

IGT is a local company, with a headquarters right in downtown Providence. Students will have the opportunity to visit this facility as well as the West Greenwich facility where new hardware is developed. Most importantly, experience professionals from IGT work with our young computer scientists as they hone their abilities in this exciting field.

URI is a leader in Computer Science Education and one of the driving forces behind the CS4RI initiative. Located in Kingston, the university will confer as many as 12 credits upon students who complete this pathway.

URI's substantial Computer Science department will be eager to recruit graduates from our pathway as Computer Science majors when they leave high school.
