Our 9th grade students take a scaled-up version of Computer Science Discoveries, designed to push their understanding of both technology and the world around them.
There is a heavy focus on problem solving skills and thinking about computers as tools. These skills will translate to virtually any educational or career path, not just college Computer Science programs.
Students create apps, games, webpages, and if time allows even simple robotics. But they also tackle important topics, such as the impacts of computing, cybersecurity, and equal opportunity of access in our ever-changing world.
