Eric Vera is an experienced theatre arts director, educator, stage manager, and performer. In addition to obtaining his PhD in Performance as Public Practice at the University of Texas at Austin, Eric is currently a Gorden Morgan Fellow in Theatre at the University of Arkansas. Eric served as the Executive Artistic Director of the Camille Playhouse in Brownsville, Texas. Eric attended the University of Texas at Austin, Department of Theatre and Dance, where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Studies. Among various other accolades, Eric obtained his Masters in Theatre Education from The University of Northern Colorado. Mr. Vera received a First Class Teacher Award for having experienced outstanding achievement in teaching. Eric is also a proud member of SAG-AFTRA. Judging Philosophy: Story. Carla Schumann taught high school theatre for 26 years and supported all fine arts as Fine Arts Director for seven years, but is now retired from public education. Carla values the educational experience of UIL She serves on TTAO Board and Texas Thespians as Membership and Communications Manager. Her love for OAP began in her own high school years and continues still today. She has competed at every level including two 5A state appearances in 2011 and 2012.

Lisa Moreno

Lisa Moreno holds a BFA from the University of Evansville, a MA from Kansas State University, and a MEd from the University of Texas RGV. Additionally, Lisa Moreno is a Registered Drama Therapist, holds triple teaching certifications in Theatre, Dance, and Communication. She is a product of the OAP experience and has directed OAP at both the high school and middle school level. She has over 15 years of experience directing and as a choreographer. During this time her theatrical casts and dance teams have won numerous awards under her direction. She is a believer in the artistic progress and in cultivating the artistic growth of young artists.
