In Prosper ISD, we are allergy aware. We do not have "allergen free" classrooms. We do communicate with parents and students about food allergies, and we do not allow students to share snacks or food at school.
If your child has a known severe allergy, please complete the Anaphylaxis Emergency Action Plan .
We strongly urge parents to provide an epinephrine pen to keep in the school clinic during the year. Epi-pens should be in their original packaging with a prescription label. If your child also has an antihistamine as part of their allergy plan, you are welcome to bring that to school to keep in the clinic. This medication should be included in the emergency action plan that is signed by the physician.
If your child will need food substitutions in the school cafeteria due to a food allergy, please complete the Special Diet Form to help us keep your child safe while at school.
