¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español !

Welcome to Doña Ursula's Website! For those of you who want to know, I began my journey learning Spanish just like most of you: in the high school classroom. Since then I have traveled to and lived in many Spanish speaking countries and studied Spanish all the way through college. Most recently I finished my Masters Degree in Spanish Linguistics.

A few notes about this site: Below, you will see the assignment calendar for all classes. In the upper right hand corner you will find a page for your class. You will also find a copy of the syllabus and, occasionally, a write up about the various projects that we will be doing.

I will be adding items regularly, so if you have any questions, check this site first to see if the answers are here!

I look forward to our work together this year!

Sinceramente,

Doña Ursula

Our first project of the semester:

Our first project of the semester is called the "Interculturality Project" and is the only one where students will have to do the work outside of school. The project is an opportunity for students to notice and embrace the influences of Spanish-speaking culture in our everyday lives. Students will choose any four of the thirteen options given. The options are wide ranging, and may require adult witness signatures. The document explaining the requirements for each option is here. The project is Due Wednesday, October 12, but there will be check-in days during the first and fourth week of the project to ensure that students are on track.

If you have any questions about the project, please email me at uraski@profile.k12.nh.us.

Sinceramente,

Doña Ursula
