Description: -
Quantity of outlet water from industries needs to be measured because water pollution caused by factories and other industries can be the most serious problem for humans and environment.
It also affects the food chain-Aquatic animal like fish consume polluted water .We human ingest fish. Due to this an unbalance food chain was created. According to a search around 70% of the industrial waste is dumped into the water bodies where they pollute the useable water supply.
20% of the groundwater is used as drinking water which is highly contaminated with carcinogenic chemicals which cause high levels of water pollution 15 million children under the age of 5 die each year because of diseases caused by drinking water .There for there is need of better methodologies for monitoring the water quality.
Here we are proposing solution of these problems using IoT based water quality monitoring system. This system contains various water quality measuring sensors, Node MCU to transfer data over internet. IoT cloud then forwards the data to a mobile application with the help of a webpage. This is useful tool to see water quality from anywhere worldwide. Thus proposed system is portable, follows worldwide standards to measure and transfer water quality data. This is innovative way to monitor water quality globally. In addition to these few key features are as below:
Scalable: Government, municipalities, other authorities pollution control bodies can adopt this product to limit pollution and make rule to take strict action against not to follow this.
Measurable: By taking data through internet from product, statically data analysis on various geographical regions can be done where there is need to limit pollution.
Sustainability: Hardware is sustainable for almost all temperatures of regions of India. Also it can be modifying product for specific environmental conditions. Data aggregation method can be used for accurate data.
