Community Education Event

On July 18th from 1pm-5pm, I held a Community Education Event at the Washington Township Public Library. The local library is where community wide learning takes place over the summer. The event was set up with a variety of arts & crafts activities, as well as face and finger nail painting for the children! While their children played with the various activities, I spoke to the parents about how my Pre-K Prep Kits related to the importance of early childhood learning.

A table was set up in the corner of the education event to allow interested parents to donate specific items to my project, as well as pick up flyers explaining the issues underlying the project.

Local children spent a fun-filled day at the library while their parents learned about the importance of early childhood education!
