IFCCA

The IFCCA is recognized as a professional state-level organization that offers support and education to local associations as well as individuals. Our input is sought by legislators and others in the child care field. IFCCA sponsors the conference “Caring for Iowa’s Future" and other training throughout the state.

IFCCA meets quarterly, February, April, September, and November. All meetings are open to anyone interested in attending. Your input is welcome to keep us informed of your needs and concerns.

In the new millennium, a website was added as a way to reach out to more FCC Providers and advocates of quality child care. The website shares information on all that is IFCCA by providing a landing spot for those interested in learning more about the association and advocating for quality child care in the state of Iowa.

Recently we have adopted an updated logo representing IFCCA, became an affiliate of NAFCC and broadened our presence on social media sites with profiles on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and Twitter; with Google+ coming at a later date.

The board of directors and leadership team is made up of FCC Providers and Child Care Resource and Referral staff; as well as advocates for the industry.
