Modern science enables study of biology in a pluralistic manner. More number of questions can be answered at the end of cutting-edge experiments. Such multiple solutions are as a result of large data set generated during the experimental processes. This is possible owing to prevalent technologies that are advancing as years pass on. Large data sets give rise to complex analytical procedures. This seminar looks at few case studies of how large data sets can be analysed from data generated through experiments or prevailing data in publicly-funded databases.
This seminar is of significance to all students interested in Biology from Biotechnology to all those disciplines like computer science, information technology, physicists, chemist and budding researchers pursuing or interested in solving complex biological problems through large data sets.
