Meet the advisors

The Acalanes High School District College & Career Center Advisors

Each year these advisors meet with students to review what is relevant at their grade level. This includes introducing them to self-assessment and career exploration tools that help them learn about themselves and discover compatible careers. Students then learn how to research colleges and use Naviance to build an initial college list. Later, they are guided to refine that list and helped with college applications and college essays. The advisors offer college campus tours and meetings with college admissions representatives on their high school campus; assist students who wish to play a college sport, and much more.

These advisors enjoy meeting with students and parents to discuss the college and career process. It is never too early to begin. Families are encouraged to set up an appointment to meet with their advisor, and to continue the dialog throughout the duration of their high school years
