here is the cable luber tool and the Liquid Wrench Chain and Cable lube I used. I got both from Amazon for about $15.
Very Important: locate the clutch cabel at the linkage by the transmission/gearbox and disconnect that side first.
Push clutch linkage lever forward and slide cable out of lever at gear box linkage.
Now ther will be extra slack on the cable at the hand levr. Use this slack t drop the cable nipple doward and slide the cable out of the lever handle. You will likely need to use the cable adjuster wheel to fully tighten it (losening the cable) to give extra slack.
Now that the cable is out, inspect it for abnormal weare or frayed cable.
Remove th cabel nipple from teh cable by sliding it backwards and pullig it out. Set the nipple aside safely. you will need it for reassebly later.
Now slice the cable out of the hand lever housing by unscrewing the cable adjustment nut and pulling the cable out through the hand lever.
Install the cable luber and ensure the cable is inserted fully and the clamps are tight enough to ensure lube does not leak out
insert spray can straw into inlet hole of the cable luber tool (ensure it's fully inserted) and spray librally until you see lubricant coming out of the other end of the cable.
ensure you see lubricant coming out of the opposite end of the cable and manually slide the cable along the housing a few times to ensure the cable is sliding freely.
Installation is reverse of removal so first put the cable back into the hand lever by inserting it back throught hte handle housing, reattaching the cable end nipple and sliding it back into the handle lever. Then reattach it on the gearbox side.
Adjust the cable once you have inserted it back into the handle. To do this, you will unscrew the adjustment wheel outward until there is very little slack in the handle when you squeeze the clutch lever. You should only have about 1-3mm of slack.
