Welcome to Film at Citadel High School. I hope that through your child’s participation in this class they will gain a deeper appreciation for the art of film making. For your convenience, the course outline, other relevant documents,  with due dates are available on the class website located at: https://chs.hrce.ca/. 

During the course we will mostly be viewing scenes and sequences from film. However, students will screen a variety of films from different eras and genres by distinguished filmmakers. Films will be shown in a responsible, respectful context. My judgement will be used to edit out certain scenes if needed. We will discuss any and all aspects of the film that students find controversial.

If at any time you would prefer your child NOT to view a specific film(s) and/or genre, please email and an alternate assignment will be provided.
