Princeville FFA Shines at Annual Banquet 

The Princeville FFA chapter celebrated another year of outstanding achievements at their annual banquet on May 10th at Princeville High School. The fun-filled night honored the hard work and dedication of FFA members with a delicious meal and numerous awards. 


Class leadership awards kicked off the ceremony, recognizing Ashlyn McFarland (Freshman), Caitlin Murphy (Sophomore), Tana Shower (Junior), and Brinae Rice (Senior) for their exemplary leadership. 


Scholarship pins were then awarded to students maintaining a "B" average, including freshmen Blake Borrow, Ryan Butterfield, Cleve Hoerr, Kyleigh Rinkel, Kamryn Smith, and Rylie Walsh. Sophomores Eli Christianson, Shaelyn McGrath, Sadie Menold, and Caitlin Murphy also earned this honor, along with juniors Montana Hoerr and Paisley Schock, and seniors Josh Hunt and Brinae Rice. 


The Greenhand FFA Degree had over 20 freshman recipients, showcasing the chapter's impressive future leaders. Other major awards like proficiency awards, honorary FFA degrees, and the DeKalb Award further celebrated the chapter's top performers. 


As the night drew to a close, seniors were recognized for their contributions, new officers were pinned, and a yearly recap highlighted the group's many 2023-2024 milestones. The 2024-2025 officer team was also introduced, setting the stage for another productive year.
