GENIUS HOUR

Children will be introduced to Genius Hour this Fall. They were motivated to learn about researching a project of their own interest using what is called “Genius Hour”. You may refer to this video to learn about Genius Hour: YouTube on Genius Hour -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMFQUtHsWhc

Students have three rules in Genius Hour:

1) They must develop a driving question that can not be researched with a quick answer.

2) They must use research in creating their project.

3) The Genius Hour project must be shared.

The project should be about something the student is really excited/passionate about.
