Knowledge Organisers should be used to support your child throughout the topic being covered. They provide dates, key vocabulary, key facts and important information that will be covered. Children will use these both in school and at home to supplement their learning, allowing us to work collaboratively together. They can be used as a point of reference for year group knowledge and expectations within the given topic area.Â
To begin our rivers learning we looked at different bodies of water and created posters about them.
Children learnt about the features of a river and then drew diagrams to demonstrate their understanding.
Children took part in 5 different workshops to broaden and secure their understanding of how to stay safe in train stations and around the tracks. As part of this event, children got to try on British Transport Uniform and have a turn in a train simulator.
Children worked in teams to try and create a den as shown in the example without any instructions.
