Reading: 'Drop Everything and Read' sessions daily use stories linked to ongoing themes and children's interests. Focus stories are detailed in the knowledge organiser.
Communication, Language and Literacy: Promoting enjoyment of stories, characters, exploring books and making links between their own experiences and events in books.
