Reading:
'Drop Everything and Read' sessions daily use stories linked to ongoing themes and children's interests. Focus stories are detailed in the knowledge organiser.

The children have been learning the Gruffalo song which reinforces the features on the Gruffalo's body. Drawing shapes to create purple prickles, a poisonous wart, and to add colour, supports our ongoing focus on drawing into writing.
