This month's Family Craft Hour will be mini pumpkin decorating! All materials will be provided.
From Mrs. Darien the Librarian: "THANK YOU!"
During parent-teacher conference week, 255 K-3 students got to see Mrs. Darien the Librarian in their classrooms! So much library joy was felt as learners decorated their own pumpkin and heard a pumpkin-themed story: 10 Spooky Pumpkins by Gris Grimley (grades K-1) and Let it Grow by Mary Ann Fraser (grades 2-3). Learners can't wait for their walking field trips to the library in the spring!

Wisconsin Science Festival starts October 15th!
Prescott Public Library will be serving as a Science in a Bag Kit pickup location, and other programs will be offered throughout the week. Learn more on the WSF website! See more information below.
FAST Program starts October 20th!
FAST Program starts October 20th!
FAST is a free 8-week program in partnership with the Family Resource Center of the St. Croix Valley for families with children aged 18 months to kindergarten-age, where caregivers and their children meet each week and connect. Lunch will be provided.

Starting October 5th || This contest is open to all ages! We have a child (birth-12), teen (13-17), and adult (18+) division. Be on the lookout for more information about this contest and pumpkin-decorating programs on our website and Prescott Community Education!

Wisconsin Science Festival with Prescott Public Library!
October 15-25 || Prescott Public Library will be serving as a pickup location for Science in a Bag kits, which include various activities that learners can explore with their caregivers. We will also be hosting a Nature Scavenger Hunt at Freedom Park on October 17th from 10:30-11:30 AM in celebration of Wisconsin Science Festival!

October 30 @ 11 AM || Immediately following Friday storytime, families are welcome to stay for crafts, games, photo ops, and spooky goings-on at the library. We highly suggest that young patrons in attendance come in costume, but it isn't necessary.
Build & Battle with these year-round clubs*!
LEGO Club
LEGO Club
Every second and fourth Wednesday from 3:30-5:00 PM.
Complete a challenge or free-build using our provided LEGO bricks, and your build will be put on display in the library!
Pokémon Trade & Play
Pokémon Trade & Play
Every second Thursday from 4:00-5:30 PM.
Bring your cards to show off or trade with friends. Cards are available for attendees to take home, and various themed activities are offered each month.
*We use the word "club" loosely here, primarly because it sounds cool. Everyone is welcome, and registration is not required.
