Press Power On.
Wait 30-60 seconds for the projector to warm up.
Select your source (PC, Laptop, or Document Camera).
If you're using the dedicated PC, login with your Pratt OneKey credentials.
WINDOWS PC OR LAPTOP
The Windows + P keyboard shortcut allows you to change the screen settings between multiple monitors, displays, or projectors.
Duplicate or Extend Your Display
A pop up window will appear for display settings where you can choose your preference. Windows uses the term 'duplicate' screen instead of mirror (like Apple).
You can also manually navigate to this window by clicking Display Settings > choose Multiple Displays > Duplicate or Extend.

Connect the display cable
Ensure the HDMI or Display cable is securely connected from the Mac to the podium connection point.
Quick keyboard shortcut (Recommended)
Press Command (⌘) + F1 simultaneously to toggle between mirrored and extended display modes.
If you don't see the login window on the projector, the displays are in extended mode. Press Command (⌘) + F1 to switch to mirrored mode so the same image appears on both screens.
Open System Settings
Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner, then select "System Settings" or "System Preferences".
Navigate to Displays
Click on "Displays" in the sidebar to access display settings.
Enable mirroring
Check the box labeled "Mirror Displays" or select the projector and choose "Mirror Built-in Display".
Note: If mirroring is already enabled, you should see your desktop on the projector immediately.
Adjust the volume slider on the touch panel to your liking for the microphone and computer's program audio feed to the house system.
Whether using the PC or a laptop, choose Extron HDMI as the audio output in Sound Settings
Locate volume controls
Find the volume slider on the touch panel, usually labeled "Volume +", "Volume -".
Adjust volume
Drag the slider up to increase volume or down to decrease volume.
Mute/Unmute audio
Press the "Mute" speaker icon to silence all audio. Press again to unmute. A red X indicates it is muted and changes color when active
Check computer volume
If playback audio is too quiet, check the output level in Sound Settings on the PC or laptop
PowerPoint Presenter View in Windows 11 allows you to see speaker notes, upcoming slides, and a timer on your screen while the audience only sees the presentation.
To connect a second display, press Windows Key + P to select "Extend," then check Use Presenter View under the "Slide Show" tab before starting your presentation.
Setting Up Presenter View (Windows 11)
Connect Displays: Connect the PC or your laptop to the AV system.
Configure Windows Display: Press Windows Key + P and select Extend. This treats the second screen as a separate display, essential for presenter mode.
Enable Presenter View in PowerPoint:
Open your presentation.
Go to the Slide Show tab.
Check the Use Presenter View box.
Select Monitor: In the "Monitors" group, select the monitor you want the audience to see from the dropdown menu.
Start Presentation: Click From Beginning (or press F5) or From Current Slide (Shift + F5).
Setting Up Presenter View (Mac)
To set up PowerPoint Presenter View on a Mac, ensure your external display is not mirrored (uncheck "Mirror Displays" in System Preferences > Displays > Arrangement).
In PowerPoint, go to the Slide Show tab, select Presenter View, or press Option + Return to start. This displays notes on your Mac and slides on the projector.
