Google Meet Codes are OGTeacherlastname, so Ms. Howard's Google Meet code would be OGHoward.
On Fridays, teachers are available via email or in a Google Meet following their class period schedule. Emailing a teacher using your student Gmail account will be the fastest way to contact a teacher on Fridays.

Wednesday - Thursday SMALL GROUP Advisory 1 - 1:45 PM:
All students will be expected to log into their Advisory (1st period) for attendance purposes. Students will then be expected to join a small group after that. Starting tomorrow, you will notice a LOT more options for small groups on Wednesday and Thursday, after your 1 PM. Advisory check-in. Minecraft, Music Appreciation, Current Events, Sports, Cooking, Urban Legends, Digital Art, “Simpson’s” and “Stranger Things” - these are just a few of the new groups that are starting this week!
Be sure to go to Advisory at 1 PM. After a check-in with your teacher, you will have the option to join a small group!
Wednesday - Thursday at Ockley Green:
All students will log into class for the first 15 minutes of every class. Students will be expected to log in and be present for the first 15 minutes. Teachers will review (while LIVE in their Google Meet) asynchronous work expectations and answer questions. Also, during that time, teachers will share the small group plan. Depending on the individual teacher, some teachers may host one or multiple small groups. For the next 30 minutes, students will be in small groups or independently on the assigned asynchronous work. For this week only, some teachers may opt to host office hours for the last 30 minutes of class instead of small groups. This is because we originally planned to take the MAP this week.

Attendance Information:
The state has identified several ways that students are counted as "Present". If a student or family does any of these FOR EACH CLASS PERIOD on the day of that class period, they are considered present.

We know families have received calls from the district’s automated ‘auto-dialer’ attendance notification system. And in some instances these calls are coming despite their student’s having completed one of the above required attendance options. If your child was inadvertently marked as absent, please contact the teacher of the class and our attendance secretary Mykayla Allen (mallen2@pps.net). The teacher and Mykayla can work to adjust attendance and address any concerns about students being inadvertently marked absent. We’re continuing to work with the district to improve the accuracy of the auto-dialer process and messaging.
