Academic Extensions

During Distance Learning we know students are moving at very different paces--some very quickly, and some more slowly. If you feel that your student needs to be doing more work, some extension assignments are offered in this document. They are supposed to be enjoyable, yet still connected to class content.

If you have any questions about the extension assignments, feel free to reach out to Amanda Graham at agraham@pps.net These assignments are ungraded, but they can be submitted for feedback if the student wishes. Some of them are meant for additional challenges, and some are contests that allow students to be creative and submit work to outside sources.

Our goals for extensions are to create spaces for students to continue their learning in a fun way with a lot of student choice. Please don't think of the list as a checklist of to-do's for your child to check off.
