Meet Your Counseling Team

The McDaniel Counseling department has 65 plus years of combined school counseling experience. They serve a diverse student population of about 1,700. Students are assigned to counselors alphabetically by last name for continuity over the years and to best serve families' academic goals. 

School counselors follow guidance from PPS Student Success and Health and The American School Counseling Association (ASCA) "Ethical Standards" and  "Behaviors & Mindsets." 

The team strives to bring an equitable counseling program to students by putting students first and by collaborating with educators, parents and stake holders to address an array of student needs such as the ones listed below.
