The McDaniel Counseling department has 80 plus years of combined school counseling experience. They serve a diverse student population of about 1,700. Students are assigned to counselors alphabetically by last name for continuity over the years and to best serve families' academic goals.
School counselors follow guidance from PPS Student Success and Health and The American School Counseling Association (ASCA) "Ethical Standards" and "Behaviors & Mindsets."
