Tonight we are here to celebrate the achievements and musicianship of all our Franklin musicians and especially our graduating seniors. The graduating class of 2024 spent the majority of their Freshman year at home taking band online with me through a screen.  Through those challenging times a lasting bond was built with these seniors. You are all to be commended for your determination, resilience, and love of music. You did it Class of 2024!

A huge thank you to our Lightning Band Boosters who have helped our band community flourish.  With all our senior parents also graduating this year, we will need other parents to step up and fill their shoes.  Helping with community connections, sponsors, fundraising, uniforms, travel planning, and concerts. Become an active member of our Lightning Band Booster group.

Franklin Band Camp Summer 2024 August 19th-21st.

We will be having our annual summer band camp August 19th through the 21st this year. The Franklin Summer Band Camp is a wonderful opportunity for our highschool students to work and mentor our middle school feeder musicians and get some music instruction.  Please mark your calendars and plan to have your band students attend!  Scan the QR Code for more info and to sign up!

I would like to take a moment to say thank you to all of the people who have helped to make this band program a success. My wife Jenny and beautiful family. The Administration at Franklin High School. Sonya Harvey our Business Manager. The Staff at Franklin High School, our Franklin Performing Arts teachers, Kristin Benedetto,our Franklin Bookkeeper, Jeanne Berg, who has helped organize our spring trip, our Franklin Lightning Band Boosters, The amazing technical crew here at Franklin for their sound and lighting help and most importantly, all of these wonderful musicians.
