FHS Wind Ensemble

The Franklin Wind Ensemble is Franklin's most advanced high school ensemble. Freshmen entering Franklin High School must register for Concert Band and or Symphonic band (with audition) prior to auditioning for this course. Music from a variety of styles and time periods will be performed. Attendance at performances is required. Wind Ensemble will represent Franklin High School at the PIL Band Festival with an opportunity to qualify for the state band festival. Consistent attendance, a cooperative and respectful attitude, a love of music, consistent practice, and a personal commitment to excellence are foundational expectations for membership in the Franklin Wind Ensemble.
