I provide consultation for students and families; in addition to conducting evaluations, administering assessments and providing counseling services for students receiving Special Education services. I am also available to consult regarding students needing crisis intervention and safety plans and parents seeking community resources. I am excited this year to be full-time at Jackson and looking forward to serving the needs of all of our Jackson students.
About Me:
Ms. Leslie is the mother of three teenage sons and two fun loving labradoodle dogs: Ziggy and Mercedes. She grew up in New Orleans, LA (aka The Big Easy) and she returns back to Nawlins at least once a year to be with family and friends. She loves the Pacific Northwest and thoroughly enjoys raising her children in Portland. She tries to be outside as often as possible, such as hiking, biking, kayaking, snowboarding and walking on the beach.
Her career started in mental health when she started working for Emanuel Hospital's Adolescent and Child Psychiatry Unit in 1999. In June 2001, she completed a school psychology internship with Portland Public Schools and has been with PPS ever since! For the past 20 years she has worked all over the district with a variety of ages from birth to 21 years and for the past 7 years she has been at Jackson.

Masters of School Psychology, Lewis & Clark College, 2001
Bachelors of Liberal Arts Studies, focusing in History and Political Science, Washington University (in St. Louis, MO), 1992
