Franklin Bell and Class Schedule
Franklin High School follows a block schedule. This means that there are 8 class periods, but only 4 classes each day. Standard school days start at 8:30am and end at 3:30pm. A-Days are periods 1-4 and B-Days are periods 5-8. A-days and B-days alternate, so if yesterday was a B-day, the next school day will be an A-day regardless of if there is a weekend or holiday in between. The first regular day of classes is on Wednesday, August 31st and is an A-Day.
*NOTE: 9th graders first day of school is Tuesday August 30th at 8:30am for Freshman Orientation Day.
Franklin also has tutorial days in which regularly scheduled classes end a bit early, and the last period of the day is Tutorial, where students can meet with teachers to get extra class support, take/retake tests, and work on homework. See the Bell Schedule below to see when periods start and end.
