Professional Learning Communities (PLC) are collaborative teacher teams that take collective responsibility for students' learning through recurring cycles. PLC responsibilities include:
Assessing student learning and the effectiveness of Tier I instruction
Identifying students in need of additional time and support
Taking primary responsibility for classroom-based Tier II supplemental academic interventions for students who have not yet mastered the identified priority standards
Planning and revising Tier I effective classroom management practices
When: Weekly for 45 minutes
